Service

The service for Charles will begin at 1 p.m., Patron Funeral Homes & Crematory Kelly Kemp Braido, 322 North Main Street, Bethesda, Ohio. Reverends Jim Lee and Tom Detling officiating.

Interment

Interment will follow the service at Ebenezer Cemetery, Bethesda, Ohio.

Obituary of Charles "Glenn" Lee

CHARLES LEE

Charles “Glenn” Lee, 90, of Bethesda, Ohio was called to his eternal home on Friday, October 6, 2017, while residing at Emerald Pointe.  He was born January 21, 1927 in Morristown, Ohio to the late Carlos and Elsie Lee.

 A loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Charles was a member of Bethesda United Methodist Church and served on the Bethesda Council.  He was a 32nd Degree Mason, receiving his 65 plus year pin and a member of the Hazen Lodge in Bethesda.  He enjoyed watching The Lawrence Welk Show and routing for the Pittsburgh Steelers and Ohio State Buckeyes.  He was retired from Hanna/Consol Coal Company, where he had worked as an equipment operator and also worked for ODOT.  Charles proudly served his country in the United States Army, during the Korea conflict.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Madelyn Cudrick, Hilda Litten, Janet Walls; and brothers, Carlos Jr. and Earl Lee. 

Charles is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Betty Lee of Bethesda, Ohio; children, William (Nancy) Lee of Marietta, Ohio, Nancy (David) Detling of Barnesville, Ohio, David Lee of Bethesda, Ohio, John (Jerrilyn) Lee of Jacobsburg, Ohio, and Beth Ann (Mark) Welch of North Carolina; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sisters, Virginia Trouten of Martins Ferry, Ohio, and Wilda Bugala of Sugar Grove, Ohio.

Family and friends are welcome to visit, Monday from 11 a.m. until the time of service, beginning at 1 p.m., Patron Funeral Homes & Crematory Kelly Kemp Braido, 322 North Main Street, Bethesda, Ohio.  Reverends Jim Lee and Tom Detling officiating.  Interment will follow at Ebenezer Cemetery, Bethesda, Ohio.
