Family and friends are invited for visitation, Sunday, January 13th from 2-6 p.m., Patron Funeral Homes & Crematory Kelly Kemp Braido, 322 N. Main Street, Bethesda, Ohio.

Service

Services for Carrie will be conducted, Monday, January 14th at noon, Flushing Alliance Church, 427 E. High Street, Flushing, Ohio 43977. Pastor Nathan McKeen officiating.

Interment

Interment will follow, Holly Memorial Gardens, Colerain, Ohio.

CARRIE HOLSTEIN

 

Carrie E. Holstein, 92, of Belmont, Ohio, was welcomed home, January 11, 2019.  Born in Flushing, Ohio February 23, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Thoburn Williams and Josephine Walter Williams.

 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death in 1981 by her husband, Elden Holstein; son, Jim Holstein in 1985; brother, Donald William; sisters, Alice Scott, Arvella Michniak, and Louise Nimon; grandsons, Scott Blake and Aaron Holstein; granddaughter, Jessica White; and great-granddaughter, Alexus Blake.

 

Carrie will remain forever in the hearts of those who survive; daughters, Betty (Harvey) Strausbaugh of Sun City Center, Florida and Linda (Dale) Blake of Belmont, Ohio; son, Tom (Sharon) Holstein of St. Clairsville, Ohio; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Edna Heade and Irene Zwick both of Canton, Ohio; and brother, Henry (Melissa) Williams of Flushing, Ohio.

 

A loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother, Carrie was a devoted Christian and her faith was easily seen in her beautiful blue eyes.  Carrie had a heart of gold, making a fundamental impact on many lives.

The family would like to extend a very special thank you to the nursing staff at Barnesville Hospital for their support and special care given to Carrie.
