Service

The service for Arthur will begin at 1 p.m., Patron Funeral Homes & Crematory Kelly Kemp Braido, 322 N. Main Street, Bethesda, Ohio. Pastor Guy Norris officiating.

Interment

Interment will follow at Chestnut Level Cemetery, Belmont, Ohio, where Military Honors will be presented by Belmont County Veterans Association.

ARTHUR EUGENE KINNEY

 

Arthur Eugene Kinney, 80, of Belmont, Ohio passed away peacefully December 7, 2018 at the V.A.  Hospital Health Care Systems.  Born September 18, 1938 in Hunter, Ohio, he was the son of the late Kennard Kinney and Bessie Jarret Kinney.

 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death in 1998 by his wife, Rita Kinney; brothers, Gerald, Norman, and Burl Kinney; sister, Carol VanHorn; and great-grandson, Charlie Summers.

 

Arthur’s memory will be cherished always by those who survive; daughter, Tammy (Kirk) Leek and estranged daughter, Beth Ann Kinney all of Barnesville; sons, Terry (Melissa) Conard of Barnesville, Ohio, Doyle Kinney of St. Clairsville, John (Linda) Laine of North Carolina; grandchildren, Kala Gatten, Jake Leek, Dorothy Leek, Chelsea Whittington, Benjamin Summers, Robert Summers, Dalton Hines, and John Laine II; nine great-grandchildren; sister, Karen Swallie of Belmont, Ohio; and brother, Bruce (Jodi) Kinney of Belmont, Ohio. 

 

Proudly serving his country in the United States Navy, he was a retired supervisor from Ohio Valley Paving.  He loved his family with his whole heart, beyond measure, transcending all.  He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying the wide open spaces and four wheelers.
