MARGARET M. SELLERS

Margaret M. Sellers, 85, of Barnesville, Ohio passed away unexpectedly November 17, 2018.  She was born August 6, 1933 in Dover, Tennessee, daughter of the late Charlie Hicks and Lucy Keel Hicks.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, James Sellers, Jr.; brothers Charlie Hicks, Jr. and Walton Hicks; sister, Reva Thorton.

Margaret’s memory will remain forever in the hearts of those who survive; her husband of 68 years, James Sellers of Barnesville, Ohio; daughter, Sandra (Jerry) Chambers of Barnesville, Ohio; son, Charles (Angie) Sellers of Barnesville, Ohio; grandchildren, Aaron, Stephanie, Adam;  great-grandchildren, Austin, Ashton, Andrew, Anna, Ayla, and Corbin; sisters, Barbara (Charles) Bruton  and Loretta (Junior) Odom all of Dover, Tennessee; and many friends.

She will be cherished always and remembered for her love of flowers, her cheerful demeanor and pleasant smile with an uplifting “hello.” She could be seen many days, walking Grace Ave. with her friend and walking buddy, Georgie.  She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.  Her grandchildren were her gift from above to cherish and love.

Honoring Margaret’s wishes, there was no visitation and a family Graveside Service will take place later, at the family’s convenience.

The family has entrusted Margaret’s care with Patron Funeral Homes & Crematory Kelly Kemp Braido, Barnesville, Ohio.
