Obituary of David Franklin Vance, Sr.

DAVID F. VANCE, SR.

David F. Vance, 65, of Belmont, Ohio, died at home on November 3, 2018.  He was born April 4, 1953, son of the late Issac Vance and Elizabeth King Vance.

He leaves behind his family and friends; wife, Regina Vance; son, David Vance, Jr.; step-son, Anthony “Tony” Litman and family of Cadiz, Ohio; step-daughter, Teresa Johnson and family of Cadiz, Ohio; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

David was preceded in death by his parents, Issac and Elizabeth Vance; and brother, Edward King.

David was a former glasshouse worker in Bellaire and a longtime employee of the William Brown Family (Margery and Elizabeth Brown) of Bethesda before retiring.

Family and friends are invited for visitation, Wednesday from 5-7 p.m., Patron Funeral Homes & Crematory Kelly Kemp Braido, 322 N. Main Street, Bethesda, Ohio.  Honoring David’s wishes, there will be no service and interment will take place, privately, with his family.

Memorial contributions may be made in David’s memory to a Diabetes, Kidney, or Cancer organization of the donor’s choice.
