Service

The service for Debbie will be conducted, Friday at 11 a.m., Patron Funeral Homes & Crematory Kelly Kemp Braido, 702 E. Main Street, Barnesville, Ohio.

Interment

Honoring the wishes of Debbie, interment will take place at a later date, at the convenience of her family.

Obituary of Debra Irene Anderson

DEBRA IRENE ANDERSON

 

Debra Irene Anderson, 60, of Barnesville, Ohio, passed away at her daughter’s home, Monday, October 15, 2018, surrounded by her family.  She was born January 22, 1958 in

Barnesville, Ohio, daughter of the late Larry Detling and Carol Ann Britton Detling.

 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Larry “Bo” Detling.

 

Forever and always, Debbie’s memory will live on in those who survive her; daughter, Danielle (Jeremiah) Holskey of Barnesville; sons, Chris (Shanna) Anderson of Barnesville, Quentin (Jennifer) Castello of Somerton; grandchildren, Hobie Howiler, Rilee Lucas, Austin, Drew, and Jordyn Holskey, Kalin Campbell, Logan and Dustin Anderson, and Kolton Castello; sisters, Dana (Dennis) Welch of Barnesville, Dyann (Richard) Kinney of Jerusalem, and Crystal (William) Scatterday of Nevada.

 

Debbie was a member of the Ladies’ Auxiliary and Barnesville American Legion Post 168.  She enjoyed Barnesville Wrestling, Jambo in the Hills, snowmobiling, and traveling.  She was an Ohio State fan, Denver Broncos fan, and enjoyed watching #7, John Elway, when he was the Broncos’ quarterback.  Because of her smile and infectious laugh, she made life more beautiful.

The family would like to extend a very special and heartfelt thank you to Stone Rise Hospice and to the many who helped with Debbie’s care, together with the outpour of love and support for Debbie and her family.
