The service for Brenda will begin at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Patron Funeral Homes & Crematory Kelly Kemp Braido, 702 E. Main Street, Barnesville, Ohio. Pastor Larry Jellison officiating.

Interment

Interment will follow the service at Crestview Cemetery, Barnesville, Ohio

Obituary of Brenda Lou Bennett

BRENDA BENNETT

 

Brenda Lou Bennett, 65, of Barnesville, Ohio, died peacefully on Friday, July 13, 2018, after a brief illness.  She was born May 12, 1953 in Columbus, Ohio to Aaron and Rosalie (Berisford) McDermott.

 

She married Paul Bennett of Barnesville, Ohio on June 16, 1973.  She graduated in 1971 from Woodsfield High School, attended and graduated from Ohio University, and worked with her husband in the family business.  She taught in many local schools for a number of years and later worked in banking for The Citizens National Bank of Woodsfield, in the Barnesville office.

 

Brenda was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.  She loved the Lord and labored many years in Baptist churches in various capacities.  She was a member of Quaker City Baptist Church.

 

She is survived by her husband, Paul, of 45 years; son, Jeffrey; daughter, Lisa; grandson, Ezry; sister, Patti (David) Pyles; several aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
