Obituary of Ruthann Froehlich McGee
RUTHANN FROEHLICH MCGEE
Ruthann Froehlich McGee, 80, of Barnesville, Ohio, was welcomed into the loving arms of her Lord on April 7, 2018. Born August 18, 1937 in Barnesville, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late John Froehlich and Hazel Romick Froehlich.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Brett McGee and brothers, Gene, Walter, Harold, Dick, and Kenny Froehlich.
Ruthann will be lovingly missed by her husband of 57 years, Harry McGee of Barnesville, Ohio; daughters, Lisa (Steve) Whitehurst of Mobile, Alabama, Beth (Jay) Brooks of Hilliard, Ohio; son, Brad McGee of Barnesville, Ohio; grandchildren, Alisha (John) Santos, Sara and Isaac McGee, Leah Whitehurst, Isabella and Emma Brooks; great-grandchildren, Benicio and Cristiano Santos; brother, Vernon (Jo) Froehlich of Sonora, California; and her always beloved daughter-in-law, Raquel.
She was retired from Barnesville Hospital, where she had worked as an RN for 35 years. She was a member of Assumption Catholic Church and a devoted Catholic, as her relationship with the Lord shown in her everyday life. Her family was everything to her and she loved them with the purest love there was. She enjoyed shopping and spending time with her two dear friends, Sandy and Marlene. The three of them were inseparable.
She loved to travel, seeing new places and experiencing their beauty.
Family and friends are welcome to visit, Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m., Patron Funeral Homes & Crematory Kelly Kemp Braido, 702 E. Main Street, Barnesville, Ohio. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted, Friday at 11 am, Assumption Catholic Church, 306 W. Main Street, Barnesville, Ohio. Father Dave Cornett presiding. Interment will follow Mass at Assumption Catholic Cemetery, Barnesville, Ohio.
A Vigil Service will be held Thursday at 7:45 p.m.
