Obituary of Ruth C. Jefferis

RUTH JEFFERIS

Ruth C. Jefferis, 91, of Barnesville, Ohio, passed away April 7, 2018 at Astoria Place of Barnesville.  She was born March 23, 1927 in Barnesville, Ohio, daughter of the late Richard and Rosa Rinehart.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Maurice Jefferis; son, Paul Jefferis; brothers, Vance, Guy, Fred, and Henry Rinehart; and sister, Bea Kaylor.

Ruth will be lovingly missed by her son, Brian (Cindy) Jefferis of Barnesville, Ohio; grandchildren, Jill, Jason, Justin, Paul; great-grandchildren, Jett, Lilly, Claire; brother, Dickie (Naomi) Rinehart; and many nieces and nephews.

A loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Ruth’s family was her greatest blessing.  She enjoyed following her grandchildren in all their sports activities.  Ruth was a retired LPN from Barnesville Hospital.  She loved the camera, clicking with love, capturing every moment, finding beauty in everything, and making memories.

Family and friends ae welcome to visit, Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. and Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of service, beginning at 11 a.m., Patron Funeral Homes & Crematory Kelly Kemp Braido, 702 E. Main Street, Barnesville, Ohio.  Pastor Richard Cox officiating.  Interment will follow at Assumption Catholic Cemetery, Barnesville, Ohio.

An Eastern Star Service will be conducted Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.
