Service

The service for Nina will begin at 3 pm, Patron Funeral Homes & Crematory Kelly Kemp Braido, 322 N. Main Street, Bethesda, Ohio. Brother Brent Hopper officiating.

Interment

Interment will be private, taking place at a later date, at the convenience of her family.

NINA CONRAD

 

Nina Conrad, 92, of Batavia, Ohio, passed away Thursday, April 4, 2018 at Emerald Pointe Nursing and Rehab.  Born September 30, 1925 in Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Winfield T. and Eliza G. Scott.

 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Russell in November 10, 1981; daughter, Ruth Conover; sisters, Flora Scott, Ruth Clytes, Lena Mumper, Elsie Scott; and brother, John Scott.

 

Nina will be sadly missed by those who survive her; daughter, Nina (Brent) Hopper of Bethesda, Ohio, Sharon (Jon) Howes, Karen (Brad) Turner all of Cincinnati, Ohio; grandchildren, Laura, Christen, Ruthie, Stephen, Jessica, Russell, Jonny, Cindy, and Jenni; great-grandchildren, Noah, Ella, Lilly, Mia; and sister, Grace Hoover of Pennsylvania.

 

Strong in her faith, she was a devoted wife,  mom, grandma.  She enjoyed teaching Sunday School.  Her passion for baking was heaven sent, baking the best pies ever!  She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and gardening.

 

Family and friends are welcome to visit, Sunday from 2 pm until the time of service beginning at 3 pm, Patron Funeral Homes & Crematory Kelly Kemp Braido, 322 N. Main Street, Bethesda, Ohio.  Brother Brent Hopper officiating.  Interment will be private, taking place at a later date, at the convenience of her family.
