Obituary of Mike Courtwright

MIKE COURTWRIGHT

Mike Courtwright, 46, of St. Clairsville, Ohio, passed away on March 16, 2018 at Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.  He was born July 23, 1971 in Waynesburg, Pennsylvania to Joe Courtwright and the late Helen Huff.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his brother, Melvin Courtwright and granddaughter, Annabell Fornal.

Mike is survived by his wife of 27 years, Melissia Courtwright of St. Clairsville, Ohio; daughters, Stephanie Courtwright of Elm Grove, West Virginia, Samantha Courtwright of Flushing, Ohio; sons, Michael Courtwright, Jr. of St. Clairsville, Ohio, Tommy Courtwright of Flushing, Ohio; grandchildren, Boogie, Hunter, Gunner, Gracie; father, Joe Courtwright of St. Clairsville, Ohio; sister, Judy (Bill) Foster of Bellaire, Ohio; brothers, Larry (Denise) Courtwright of Flushing, Ohio, Gary (Mel) Courtwright of Bellaire, Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mike, whose love for his family was very strong, enjoyed playing with his grandchildren.     He also enjoyed playing darts and loved music.

Family and friends are welcome to visit, Wednesday from 11 am. until the time of service, beginning at 1 pm, Patron Funeral Homes & Crematory Kelly Kemp Braido, 322 N. Main Street, Bethesda, Ohio.  Interment will follow at Crestview Cemetery, Barnesville, Ohio.
