Obituary of Ingeborg M. Gregg

INGEBORG GREGG

Ingeborg M. Gregg, 88, of Belmont, Ohio went to her Eternal Home, Thursday, March 8, 2018.  Born January 21, 1930 in Plauen, East Germany, she was the daughter of the late Emiel Pfeil and Anna Stahl Pfeil.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, G. Vernon Gregg in 2011.

Ingeborg will be sadly missed and is survived by her daughters, Ruthie (Ernie) Martin, Jennifer (Bruce) Schuster all of Belmont, Ohio; son Eric (Brenda) Gregg of Belmont, Ohio; grandchildren, April, Jamie, Jason, Chelsey, Nate, Chantell, David, and Katrina; great-grandchildren, Myah, JoceLynn, Jayden, Lexi, Alexa, Nova, and Kylie, Nico, and Giovanni; sister, Rosemarie Pickens of New Jersey; and brother, Wolfgang (Irmchen) Pfeil of Germany.

Ingeborg loved the Lord with all her heart, soul, mind, and strength. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother and her family was her greatest blessing.   She was a member of the Women’s Aglow Christian Ministry and enjoyed singing in the church choir.  Coming to this country in 1952 as a war bride, she was lead to write a letter to the Editor titled, “From Hitler to Christ.” 

Family and friends are welcome to visit, Saturday from 1 pm. until the time of service which will begin at 3 pm., Chestnut Level Christian Church, 61820 Chestnut Level Road, Belmont, Ohio.  Pastor Joe Hise officiating.  Interment will follow at Chestnut Level Cemetery.
