Obituary of Melinda Lee Garafalo

MELINDA GARAFALO

Melinda Lee Moore Garafalo, 56, of Barnesville, Ohio, was welcomed into the arms of her Lord and Savior on February 25, 2018 at Wheeling Hospital.  She was born May 29, 1961 in Cambridge, Ohio, daughter of the late Richard Moore and Bonnie Wineman Moore.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Lacie Lee Wallace and sister, Cindy Graham.

Melinda is survived by her husband of 36 years, Thomas Garafalo of Barnesville, Ohio; daughter, Tessa (Ryan) Hevalin of Cambridge, Ohio; grandchildren, Rozzalin, ZuZu, Jackson, Evey; sisters, Debbie (Gene) Bear of Columbus, Ohio, Kathy (Dan) Scott of Belmont, Ohio; and brother, Tom Moore of Richmond, Virginia.

Melinda loved the Lord with all heart and soul.  She embraced her role as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and her grandchildren were the light of her life.  She loved music and books, the bible being her favorite book, which she had many of.  The presence of the Lord in her everyday life radiated, as she walked by faith, not by sight.

The family will receive guests, Saturday, March 3, 2018 from 1 to 3 p.m., Belmont School Gymnasium, in celebration of Melinda’s life.

The family has entrusted Melinda’s care with Patron Funeral Homes & Crematory Kelly Kemp Braido, Barnesville, Ohio.

“Blessed is she who has believed that the Lord would fulfill His promise to her.”  Luke 1:45
