Shirley was a wonderful friend, and an amazing person. She will be missed terribly. I became friends with her after my daughter was born, 30+ years ago. I didn't see her much in the years after I moved to Barnesville, but love her still. She will have many friends and family members waiting to welcome her home. Rest easy my friend.

No part of me can process this. As heavy as my heart and my mind is I can't imagine how her family is feeling. I loved Shirley like she was my own family and genuinely missed her presence when I was not in it. She had literally in a way talked me from the ledge more than once. She was in the top 5 neighbors I have ever had in my 29 years of life. The other 4ish were the Same family. I would trade a great amount for one more talks full of her wisdom, love and beauty. I don't know what to say or do and I can't make this better. But I am sincere when I say reach out if I can help at all in any way. I have Networked locally and have various random talents that could come in use should there be a benefit for Sherman or in her honor. I say this with lovw, sincerity, guilt and many apologies.

I would like to say a few thing's about Shirley. She was a part of my every day prayers and thoughts each and every day. I remember when we were neighbors we help eachother out time and time again. Sugar here and potatoes there. No matter what she would give u the shirt off her very back if you needed it. She always was there for me when I was feeling alone or sad, as I was for her when she needed to talk. We also shared many many laughs as well together. Helping her and Shirmin added sunlight to many of my days. And I am forever in her debt for the wonderful memories she has given me and my fanily. She always fed my dogs even with many treats from her home. They will miss her as well. To the family and my family who are affected by her loss you are all in my prayers as well. We are all lucky to have had her a part of our lives.
