Obituary of Carl W Pozza

CARL POZZA

Carl Pozza, 75, of Salesville, Ohio, died Sunday, October 22, 2017 at Emerald Pointe Nursing and Rehab.  He was born in Belmont, Ohio on August 29, 1942, to the late Bassilios Pozza and Clara Obrookta Pozza.

His passion was being a devoted husband, father, and grandfather and had a deep love for the land and farming.  Carl proudly served his country in the United States Army.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Crystal Spence in 2015; sister, Rose Ann Webster; and brother, Stanley John Pozza.

Carl is survived by his wife of 48 years, Ethel Pozza of Salesville, Ohio; daughters, Mary (Bill) Bailey of Bellaire, Ohio, Roxann Pozza of Koppel, Pennsylvania; son, Carl Pozza, Jr. of Salesville, Ohio; granddaughters, Tiarra Yeargin and Andrea Randalson; and sister, Mary Virginia Hawkins of Mingo Junction, Ohio.

In keeping with Carl’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service.  A private interment at the convenience of his family will take place at a later date.

The family has entrusted Carl’s care with Patron Funeral Homes & Crematory Kelly Kemp Braido, Barnesville, Ohio.
