Melody & family, Since finding out Terry had been sick from my sister Debbie, I would ask her about him frequently and how he was doing always knowing Melody had to be keeping the faith & always by his side. We lit candles & said our prayers for Terry & his whole family as we also know Mark, Kim & Lisa . When I heard of his passing, I was deeply saddened. I remember Terry's witty sense of humor & bigger than life personality.I would say he inherited that from both his parents as Mr. & Mrs. Barricklow were both fine people and can bet that they were there waiting on Terry to welcome him Home and with Everlasting life, we will all be together again one day. We will be praying and asking God to keep you in His care going forward. Timmy & Dawn, may you both find comfort in knowing how many people knew and loved your Dad. Love & God's Blessings, Abbie

To all the Barricklows - my love and prayers are with you. I remember some gathers with our families.... and after I moved back this way a few years ago, Terry stopped by my dad's estate yard sale. I looked at him and said... I know you... you have got to be a Barricklow and he just laughed. Take care and God bless.

Seldom am I at a loss for words but I am today after reading Terry’s name in the paper. All of my memories involving Terry keep running through my mind in an endles loop.
The last time Terry and I spoke was at Belmont Tech while we were taking some classes there in the mid 90’s. He always stopped me to chat and ask about my family. Terry was like family to me as are the entire Barricklow family. He had the greatest sense of humor and always had an smile on his face.
I’ll never forget he and I taking off to Beaver Creek State Park up near Youngstown to join friends and family who were there on a trail ride. We didn’t have horses with us, we were just going to visit. It was dark once we got there but we settled in with friends playing cards, chatting, and joking around. After about an hour, he said his goodbyes, grabbed me, and we took off toward home. He just wanted to say hello to friends and laughed at me for questioning it.
That’s what I recall most, his desire to be with friends and family. He was always kind toward me but never hesitated to keep me in line if I acted too much a fool (often). I was very fortunate to have been able to call Terry Barricklow my friend. I’m so sorry for your loss and my deepest condolences to Mark, Kim, Lisa, and Terry’s family.

Terry worked with my dad at OUE, so when I was a student there, I had many opportunities to talk and laugh with him. He fondly referred to me as "crash", which continued even after I left OUE and he and my dad had both retired. I always told my dad to tell Terry that "crash" said hello, even very recently when my dad visited with him. He was a good man and a wonderful friend to my dad. Terry will not be forgotten. Prayers for you all.
