The service for Bob will be conducted, Monday 11 a.m.,Patron Funeral Homes & Crematory Kelly Kemp Braido,322 North Main Street, Bethesda, Ohio. Pastor Andrew Thompson officiating.

Interment

Interment will follow at Union Cemetery, Morristown, Ohio.

ROBERT “BOB” H. MCFARLAND

Robert “Bob” H. McFarland, 84, of Bethesda, Ohio, passed away at home early Friday morning July 7, 2017. He was born in Alledonia, Ohio on May 13, 1933.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Martha Sullivan McFarland; parents, Harry and Trella Perkins McFarland; sisters, Gertrude Dangelo, Olive Cotton, and Ruth Ann Hagan.

Bob is survived by his wife of 38 years, Linda Reed McFarland; son, Mark (Jodi) McFarland; daughter, Kris Reitter; grandchildren, Alicia (Mike) McKeever, Ben (Brook) McFarland, Adam (Bobie) McFarland, Matthew McFarland, Madison McFarland, Kit (Amber) Reitter, and Josh (Susie) Reitter; 16 great-grandchildren; sister, Ellen Gossett, and his dog, Willie.

Bob was a member of Belmont United Methodist Church and a retired iron worker from Local 549.  After his retirement, he enjoyed working in his garage, building trailers, working on farm equipment, and riding in his buggy all over his farm land. 

The pride Bob had for his family was immense. His grandchildren adored him and all his great-grandchildren loved visiting, Pa-pa Bob.
