Obituary of Kathy Lynn Kovacs

KATHY KOVACS

Kathy Lynn Kovacs, 58, of Bridgeport, Ohio, died at her home on Wednesday, June 21, 2017.  She was born October 16, 1958 in Barnesville, Ohio, daughter of the late Steve “Junior” Kovacs and Kathryn Burghy Jurovcik.

Kathy enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and loved making and sharing memories with them.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Tom Kovacs.

Kathy is survived by her daughters, Katie Jeffrey of Wheeling, West Virginia, Jessica Graham of Florida;  sons, Jason (Jessica) Kovacs of Martins Ferry, Ohio, Emerson Jeffrey of Lima, Ohio; grandchildren, Devon, Adelyn, Brage, Jacob, Evan, Luca, and Caroline; sisters, Stephanie (Darrell) Jendrusik of Lafferty, Ohio, Cindy (Rich) Sykes of Barnesville, Ohio; brothers, James (Connie) Kovacs of Barnesville, Ohio, Mike (Faith) Kovacs of Marietta, Ohio; and many, many friends.

Honoring Kathy’s wishes, there will be no visitation.  Family and friends are welcome to attend a Graveside Service on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at 11 a.m., Union Cemetery, Morristown, Ohio, with interment to follow.                                           

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Bridgeport Friendship Council, St. Anthony’s Hall, 630 Main Street, Bridgeport, Ohio 43912.
