Obituary of Philip Wilson

PHILIP WILSON Philip M. "Flip" Wilson, 69, of Belmont, Ohio passed away Friday, July 29, 2011 at Liza's Place in Wheeling, West Virginia. He was born March 22, 1942 in Neffs, Ohio to the late Nathan Wilson and Mabel Penberthy Wilson. Philip was a retired foreman with the former, North American Coal #6 Mine, a member of Real Life United Methodist Church of Belmont, Ohio, and a member of the Mining Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Association, Ohio Valley Chapter, for many years. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by sisters, Lora Mae Abbott and Mabel Jo Palmer; brothers, Bud and Homer Wilson. Philip is survived by his wife of 48 years, Sandy Sall Wilson; daughter, Dawn Dee Wilson; granddaughter, Karlie "Button" Weekley both of Belmont, Ohio; sisters, Mindy (Dave) Sayre of Belmont, Ohio and Sue Ellen (Sonny) Dilly of Jacobsburg, Ohio; brothers, Herb (Sandy) Wilson of Beallsville, Ohio and Daniel Wilson of Akron, Ohio; mother-in-law, Helen Sall of Bethesda, Ohio; and special family friend, Mike Kelly. Family and friends may call Tuesday 11:00 AM until the time of service at 1:00 PM, Kelly-Kemp-Braido Funeral Home, 322 North Main Street, Bethesda, Ohio. Pastor Ashley Barker-Steele will be officiating. Interment will be at the convenience of the family at Belmont Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to: Real Life United Methodist Church, P.O.
